In Canton 9000 school children paraded to boost War Savings stamps. A Cleveland news weekly sought film of the event but cameras could not reach Canton in time. Firestone Tire and Rubber Co of Akron stepped in sending a film crew who staged scenes with crippled and tagalong children, the parade escorted by a Firestone truck bearing bunting to boost the thrift drive.
