Newtown G O P Club Admits 25 Members
The Newtown Massachusetts Republican club held a Friday night meeting at the Newtown with twenty five new members admitted. Sergeant Oscar Johnson of the Princess Pat addressed the gathering and discussed his wartime service. Other guests included Sheriff Simeon Pease and Jailer Matthew Scott of Bridgeport. A short speech by Mr Dose and songs by Lieutenant Walker followed, then refreshments.
