Pilgrims followed Jesus path to Calvary in Jerusalem as guards protected holy sites. Desert troops stood watch while Franciscan custodian Father Linus Cappello led pilgrims through the covered bazaars in the misty twilight amid rain and solemn prayers. A street robbery occurred nearby as a clerk and three employees surrendered cash during the unrest.

Congressmen Visit Hawaii and Thailand for Briefings

Newsboys Visit Lausanne on Parade Magazine Tour

Adventurers Start Trip To Find True North Pole

Family Drown On Holiday Vacation In Mexico

State Mediation Sought In Fairfield Police Dispute

Economic gains for Negro families in CT's four largest cities

A University of Connecticut study shows large declines in non white low income families in Hartford New Haven Bridgeport and Waterbury over six years. From 1960 to 1965 the share earning under 3000 dropped to 11 22 percent, while those over 5000 rose to 11 15 percent, amidst continued migration trends.
