Manchesterite Heads Daily Newspaper Unit
Thomas Ferguson co publisher of the Manchester Herald was elected president of the Connecticut Daily Newspaper Association. He succeeds Kenneth K Burke of the Hartford Times. Other officers include Theodore Vaill of the Winsted Citizen first vice president Mrs Lucy B Crosbie Willimantic Chronicle second vice president William T Pate II Waterbury Republican American secretary Eugene J Brown Danbury News Times treasurer. An executive committee and other officers were named along with distribution of fifty eight percent of the ply sicers and chairmen of the wood produced in the United States.
