New York June 29. Irregular curb market session saw more advances than losses as several issues attracted solid support and new highs. Curtiss Aeroplane rose to 27 1 2, Bucyrus moved higher, Transcontinental and Vacuum gained, while New England Power and some utilities declined. Consolidated Finances led losses, down 1 2 to 16 1 2, with Deere and Company and Celanese among other declines.
The June 29 daily treasury statement lists the balance in the general fund at 300,662,535.72 and covers stock averages across sectors such as utilities and industrials, with figures for bonds and other market metrics. The report notes preliminary values in the stock market sections and a combined average around 8696.
