Liberty Building Pronounced Safe By City Inspector
The Liberty Building has been pronounced safe by city Building Commissioners. Reconstruction of two floors that collapsed last week is nearly complete by the engineering firm in charge. Building Inspector Daniel M. Rowland determines the steel work is in good condition and the cement hardened properly, though past haste caused the failure. Government officials from the Ordnance department plan rapid access for general occupancy.
