The last trolley between Bridgeport and Derby will run tonight at 11 20 and be replaced by a bus service starting Sunday morning. Buses run hourly from 6 30 am to 11 20 pm with transfers allowed where lines meet. The Bridgeport Derby route will follow Connecticut Avenue to Stratford and Main Street, with many sections retained as a bus route while Peck's Mill to Derby portions end. The Public Utilities Commission approved the plan though some sections may be temporary as the company evaluates future needs. Historical trolley disasters and a 1921 collision are noted in background.
