Export Scholars to Visit West Point

About 159 eighth grade graduates from public grammar schools will travel to West Point today under supervision of Assistant Superintendent Beth Cortright Tarver G.Went and about 30 teachers. They will tour the academy witness graduation exercises and inspect the facilities, traveling by train and returning to New York for dinner before reaching Bridgeport about 10 o'clock. The trip may become an annual event for sixth grade to high school graduates.

King Suit Argued in Superior Court

Arguments were heard in the Superior Court over the suit of J Moss Ives receiver of the Danbury Bethel Street Railway against John T King. Ives seeks $199,600 for unpaid subscription stock absorbed by Danbury Bethel. A prior demurrer was sustained. judge reserved on the motion to amend and the demurrer ruling.
