The 19 or 20 year old Fairfield native, son of the local druggist, was earlier reported killed in action but survived. he had previously earned two gold stripes in American service. Entire Brigade of State Guards Parade on July 4

Milford Boy Is Struck By Auto In Bridgeport
Milford June 11 Trank Rabitoe 11 son of William Rabitoe of Bridgeport turnpike was struck and severely injured by an automobile driven by John J Bahan of Clinton avenue Bridgeport. He dodged from behind one auto into the path of the machine a headlight was broken and the lad dragged about 200 feet before the car stopped. He suffered a fracture of the large bone of the right leg several cuts on the head and bruises. Dr J J Pons of Devon attended and found no bad symptoms. Bahan's car owned by Carl Siemon of Bridgeport was used police arrested him and released on bond until June 17 for 599.
