Charles Mellor, son of Assistant Chief Engineer Alexander B. Mellor, was revived after a rooming house gas leak and possible poisoning. Engine No.3 and Truck No.1 crews at 167 Norman Street acted quickly, found him unconscious in a bathroom, and saved his life. An ambulance and Dr. Margulis arrived. Mellor was not hospitalized. A man mistaken for poisoning involved a medicine cabinet mix up with chloride of mercury in an unrelated incident at 75 Commercial Street. Discharged from St. Vincent's after assessment.
