A Beardsing park picnic yesterday for Huntington Road School pupils was planned by the Parent Teachers association with Mrs. Jem Mendenson as chair. Miss Mary Hord and staff led games and a play, with refreshments served and Nancy Daines among the attendees. Miss Clark led kindergarten activities as a baseball game entertained the children. organizers hope for an annual event. Sons and Daughters of Saint George announce a parade and events with a Scottish drum corps to follow, marching through Strauford tomorrow night.
