Boy Shot as Man Brandishes Gun in Jest at Peterborough
In Peterboro Ontario a ten year old, Jack Seeney, was killed by a buckshot blast from a shotgun pointed at him during a jest. Jack Elliott, the Seeney’s hired man, allegedly warned the boy to leave him alone before the gun fired. A jury found the shooting accidental and noted the shotgun had not been loaded in the house previously.

New Bus Routes Between Fairfield and City Denied
The Public Utilities Commission in Hartford denied requests for three new bus routes serving Fairfield and Bridgeport. Canada debt retirement plan aims 40 year payoff
Ottawa June 9 The Investment Bankers association of Canada proposed a 40 year plan to retire the dominion’s debt by funding 23,447,000 annually. The plan foresees wiping out the national debt by 1967, the confederation centenary, as taxes and debt retirement intertwine.
