Motorist Speeds Away After He Runs Over Man
Norwalk July 7 Special A heavy automobile struck Elihu Fenton of Southport as he lay unconscious in the road after a motorcycle crash on the Post road at Greens Farms. The driver failed to stop and disappeared in a cloud of dust as passersby shouted. Fenton was rushed to Norwalk hospital with a badly crushed right foot.

Body Found Off Black Rock Shore After Week in Water
A man about 40 was found floating several miles off shore by a patrol boat from the Black Rock naval station. He was half clad, no ID, wearing a dark jacket and socks, blue eyes, five six, clean shaven. The body towed to the base and identified later by authorities.

Four Men Hurt In Georgetown Car Crash
Four men from Bridgeport and Stratford were injured when a Ford struck a rock near the Cannondale line yesterday at 4:45 PM. Charles Wills and Rudolph Loth suffered fractured ribs and were admitted to Norwalk hospital. Harry Smith and George Loth sustained minor injuries. Soldiers Arrive To Drive Biker Trucks To Port
