Father Carmody Dies in Hartford at 50
The Rev. Alfred J. Carmody 50 first pastor of St Lawrence church Huntington died last night in St Francis hospital Hartford after extended illness and major surgery. Native of Meriden he served as Air Force chaplain in World War II and spent years in New Haven Danbury New Milford and Huntington before his death. The Huntington church dedication had been planned for August 10.
