Powell brothers held after trying to sell stolen goods
Joseph Powell and his brother David William Powell, both from Stamford, were arrested by Bridgeport police while attempting to sell goods believed stolen in Fairfield County robberies. Valued around 1000 dollars, the loot included silverware, a Victrola and a vacuum cleaner. They are held on breach of peace charges with bonds set at 5000 dollars each.
