Fairfield liquor cases raise questions on permits and timing
In Fairfield a 41 year old George A Jennings pleaded guilty to selling liquor to minors and was fined 50 dollars. Five Fairfield university students were arrested for drinking beer at Sullivan's restaurant where Jennings held a permit. Prosecution dropped charges against the bartender William Cave and another case charged Raymond Millbaer and James Rickard for violating restaurant closing hours. The state cited missing evidence due to an unavailable seizure warrant.
