Human Relations Problems Aired At SPEED Shop
About 50 Fairfield county school government and civic group representatives met at the University of Bridgeport in an all day SPRED session to discuss human relations problems. Max Birnbaum outlined three focus areas: reactions to interurban school busing, stricter enforcement of demonstrations laws, and firmer youth disciplinary control. Representatives split into panels to devise broader solutions. SPRED covers 16 districts and cultural agencies. SPEED is led by Dr. Anthony Brackett. Decaying algae on a lake may use up oxygen harming aquatic life.
