Tax Payments for a Last Quarter over Houston's Estimate
Washington December 27 Income and profits tax receipts for the last quarter exceeded the daily estimate of 650 million dollars. December 23 receipts reached 650,602,546 with year ago at 824,178,191. Treasury says some increase expected as two weeks remain to be accounted. Since June 1 receipts totaled 1,360,135,297 versus 1,294,430,000 last year.
