French philosopher Garaudy urges Marxist Christian dialogue
Prof. Roger Garaudy urged improved Marxist Christian dialogue as vital for humanity in the nuclear age. Speaking at Fairfield University he urged followers of both ideologies to shed aggression and accept the realities of the times while learning from each other. He tied dialogue to global threats, harmony among people, and a more effective practice of faith and ideology. The talk, part of a U S tour, stressed no prejudice and the aim of mutual improvement.
