Stratford Man Fined For Selling Liquor In Town Court
Stratford December 10 Special to the Telegram Angela Stavola of Honeyspot road was found guilty of violating the liquor law by keeping liquor with intent to sell. Judge Henry Warford fined her 200 dollars plus costs and sentenced her to four months in jail, three months suspended. The offense occurred while Stavola had an appeal pending in the high court. She had spent 15 days in jail awaiting the outcome, was released, then rearrested on the latest charge.

Two New Haven men arrested for zigzagging a motorcar on Post Road near Fairfield were fined in Town Court. Ernest Pecher received 190 dollars and costs for operating under the influence.
