Connecticut to Sell Second $100 Million Thruway Bonds
State Highway Commissioner G Albert Hill announced a second $100 million issue of revenue bonds for the Greenwich Killingly expressway to be sold January 18. The 129 mile project has $398 million authorized. bonds mature 1961 to 1994, secured by tolls and motor fuel tax. Proceeds fund continued construction and land and engineering work proceeds ahead of schedule. Lehman Brothers and First Boston managed the initial sale and serve as advisers on the new financing.

Ribicoff Attacks Frills In State School Building
Governor-elect Ribicoff told the State Board of Education he has heard many complaints about unnecessary frills on state aided schools.
