Maya expedition seeks cradle of civilization in Yucatan
Gregory Mason, archeologist and leader of the Mason Spinden Expedition, plans a second Maya study in Quintana Roo to trace the origins of the Maya and prove that America is humanity's cradle. He will work with geologists and botanists to uncover ancient agricultural knowledge and plant use dating back thousands of years.
