Oregon Lead in Final Sport of Year at Storrs
In the forty second week of the egg laying contest at Storrs the Oregons led with a 61 egg yield for the week. Pen 60 owned by J. O. LeFevre and Pen 78 owned by A. Bailard tied for second with 51 eggs. A White Wyandotte owned by St. G. Knight laid 250th egg, raising hopes of a 300 milestone by year end. The report lists top pens in Barred Plymouth Rocks and White Wyandottes, plus other entries and standings.
