Army to discharge 4000 drafters early from U S posts

The Army will discharge as many as 4000 draftees early, with releases set between September 1 and June 19. Most have already served abroad in Vietnam or Korea and cannot be sent overseas again due to limited time left. The move accompanies Pentagon plans to reduce Army strength by about 59 thousand this year to meet new budget and selective service cuts.

Woman Suspect Arrested in State Hospital Embezzlement Case
