Washington August 14. General reduction in interest rates on loans through Federal Land Banks is planned by the Treasury and Federal Farm Loan Board. Accruing from 7 1 2 to 5 per cent on loans issued by the Wichita Kans land bank, effect today, was announced by Commissioner Wil- Name of the Farm Loan Board arting Secretary Winston of the Treasury. He indicated the policy will be pursued in other land bank districts and hoped a rate of at least 3 per cent might be attained generally for farmers. He believed each farmer could ease their difficulties alongside fiscal ones.

Norwalk Man Caught in Canada in Murder Case

Antonio Tadula, 31, of 9 Moscrtttto Street Norwalk, wanted for a fatal August shooting in Geneva Clementi, was arrested in Montreal and will be returned to Norwalk.
