Fayrbrook Junction August 7 A violent storm and two freight trains collided two miles west of a Saybrook point on the New Haven railroad Danes of New London was killed and the fireman is believed to be dead. Freight cars demolished and the line tied up as wreckage blocked the tracks. Wrecking crews from New Haven and New London were enroute by midnight.
