Rev William J Daly celebrated his first Mass at St Augustine's in Bridgeport yesterday at 10 oclock. About 3000 parishioners attended. Daly, ordained in Hartford last week, is son of Richard W Daly and wife of 27 Center Street. Cardinal McAuliffe and St Thomas seminary leaders spoke. several clergy and students assisted. A reception at Daly's parents home followed, as he plans to visit before a parish assignment is announced.

Greenwich April 19 Archibald Walker 27 Bradhurst avenue was arrested for reckless driving on the complaint of Mrs J La Foster of Milford who claimed he forced her car off the Post road in Greenwich. He posted a $50 bond to assure his appearance in court Thursday. Another case will be tried Thursday Andrew Andrews 34 Cherry street Rahway N J was arrested for reckless driving by State Policeman Stanton and he also deposited a $50 bond.
