London April 17 Lieutenant Booth landed the R 33 at Pulham at 3 50 p m after a 34 hour airship ordeal. The crew weathered a gale and feared crashes as they fought to regain control over land and sea. Wireless operator Spencer Feeley and Commander Sante praised Booth and the ship’s craftsmanship. Crowds cheered as the damaged airship was guided into the hangar and nose-dived near the mooring mast. New York April 17 Bethlehem Steel and Bethlehem Shipbuilding sue the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation for 9,744,810.94 claiming balances due on 86 vessel constructions during and after World War I. The government filed a parallel suit for about 11 million in Philadelphia. Statements by James Schwab and Eugene Grace deny improper influence and assert the arrangement limited relations with the Fleet Corporation.

The Bridgeport Order of DeMolay presented its second annual circus last night before 1200 plus attendees at the Casino on Brat Street. The show featured youth performers, a drum corps, clown antics, and trapeze acts with nods to Barnum and Bailey style entertainment.
