In St Louis a bold mail truck heist yielded over 2.9 million in securities. Nine men arrested, including William Doering the dealer and Theodore Welsman, with Doering’s bungalow in Richmond Heights raided. Weapons and dynamite found. most loot returned except 30 thousand.

Endurance dancer June Curry tops dancing record in Cleveland

Spectacular cave siege ends in Ireland with casualties

In County Kerry a small group of Irish Republicans held a cave position near Clashmeenon Shannon. Two men died leaping from cliffs, Commander Lyons was killed after a 100 foot fall, and four others including Walter Stevens were captured as the siege collapsed. Bandits Hold Up Express Truck In Kansas City Cash Heist
