Barney Doherty veteran halfback of the New Haven Wolves captained a stars team against the Thrldee port Tigers in a Maurice Conley benefit at Rosetind Palace last night winning 4 to 3. The crowd saw comic racing acts and a slow motion wrestling finale with Bill Duggan and Dougherty delivering lively performances alongside Tony Welsh who scored three for the visitors.
