A woman in Bridgeport claims to be the first and only wife of barber Michael Annigate of 1391 Main St. She pursued a ten year search after he disappeared to the United States. Detective Sergeant Edward Cronan arrested Annigate after locating him in Bridgeport with aid from informants. The claimant says they married at 18 near the Bay of Naples and he vanished four or five days after. She reports no children.

Drowned fishermen report floods of Lake Constance storm
Friedrichshafen Germany June 24. Not less than thirty five fishermen are believed drowned in Lake Constance after a sudden terrific storm sweeping over the region yesterday. Ten bodies were recovered early today as lake steamers and other craft carried out rescues.

Auto Victim Will Live After Westport Crash
Frank Forday, of 303 Charles Street, was badly injured when his motorcycle collided with an automobile driven by Miss Anna Selleck, a New York teacher and artist. Shelck and her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schlosser, were leaving their home near the Turkey Hill Road turn onto the Connecticut turnpike when Forday sped down the road at an estimated 40 miles per hour. Forday suffered a fractured leg and shock and was taken to St Vincent's Hospital after initial checks, while Selleck's car sustained front-wheel and frame damage. Selleck was served with a summons to appear in court tomorrow. Forday's condition was reported as out of danger.

On the application of his family, Dr. W. H. Bunnell was committed to the state asylum for the insane in probate court. The action avoids criminal charges for illegal dispensing of narcotic drugs. Doctors reported addiction to morphine and cocaine with prior confinements in Norwich and a New Haven sanitarium. He was taken to the Middletown asylum by Investigator Alex Morrissey.

Nine Firemen Hurt In $400000 Blaze At Manchester
A six hour blaze in Manchester New Hampshire destroyed two large blocks in the retail district causing 400000 in damage. Nine firemen were injured but expected to recover.
