Bankers Primary On Federal Bank Directors Closed
Washington June 22 Voting for directors of the twelve new federal reserve banks ended yesterday. Committees received belated wallets from member banks and will take days to supply lists of names for voters to elect. Nominees for Class A and B directors will be reported to accredited officials who will convey choices to the selection committee. Three Class B directors per bank will be chosen by the reserve board after the organization is clear. The measure aims to prevent domination by any single group in a region.
