Jackson Mississippi July 22 Thirty five prisoners were burned to death on the second floor of an antiquated convict cage at Oakley convict farm twenty miles from Jackson. Guards and rescuers could not reach them as flames consumed the wooden structure. The building lacked firefighting equipment and there was inseminable material on the first floor. The Oakley farm is a major state facility with the hospital located there.
