Shooting Rampage Leaves Two Men Wounded in City
Benjamin Parsons a trolley motorman of 584 Connecticut avenue and Charles Brown of 188 Smith street were wounded in a liquor fueled rampage by John Williams 25 also of 188 Smith street. Williams fled after shooting Brown at his neck and Parsons near Newfield and Stratford avenues. Williams later bought strychnine at a drug store and drank only a small amount. Both victims were taken to Bridgeport Hospital where Parsons was expected to die and Brown remained in critical condition.
