The Teo Breall City School Board will receive sealed bids at noon July 9 for coal and screenings to supply multiple school buildings. Approximately 1900 tons of lump coal and 2000 tons of bituminous coal plus screenings are eyed. The board may reject any bid. PC Farris, Secretary, notes the superintendent will oversee delivery.
Paneral services for Chesley Elkin of Cantonia were held Monday afternoon with Rev Streble presiding. Elkin, born in Kentucky, had lived near Brag for 30 years and was a longtime member of Baglin church. Surviving are his parents, brothers, and relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Calte for Paul Bills alias Allin who died last Friday at the home of his sister in Princeton. Burial took place in the Leatta cemetery at Carhan with the father Mitton Hililk of Princeton, a brother and six states listed as survivors.
Betty Jean Myers daughter of Mr and Mrs Prank Myers formerly of the city died Sunday afternoon June xt at home in Tab Preemie nne Indiana after a short illness age V yede Survived by parents seven siblings and grandparents. The body was taken to Miller and Ban's funeral chapel for burial and was interred at Summit cemetery with Rev Hurrell officiating.
Mrs Mary Gibbens widow of Jyooh Gila Civil war veteran died at home in Sallie Oily fier wolong the of gerere iletlcity. She was the daughter of Jol Vadntegker an early leader in Clay county. Funeral services were held at home and interment was in Grimes cemetery. She leaves a son William and daughters Noh Henry, Elven, Coel, and Mek Dave Kytanter.

The Cardonia 4H Club meeting was led by Mrs Renjalin with Wind Howerton presiding. Members Shirley Mhagey Lelia Chaney and Marjorie Smith read readings and the gathering lasted about an hour. Officers present included Wit Heiterton Tha Redalin Latta Shiney Chaney Bonne Hircdonan and the leader Mrs Chevid Renjalin with daughter Hartrbarea.
