Board of Supervisors September meeting actions
The board met on the first Monday in September with all members present. They declined to issue road bonds after a prior failed election, awarded feed and oats contracts for Beats 1 through 4 and 6 to specified suppliers, levied 214 mills for Pisgah Consolidated school district, arranged private sale of land to G S Thrash, appointed M Childre as township trustee, agreed J L McDonald receive a $100 monthly road pay, authorized a $1000 loan from Pelahatchie Bank for District 4 road work, approved a new bond and discharge of the Fidelity Guaranty in Rankin County, and noted Mrs. M A Bethune’s continued filing.
