Rankin County board of supervisors met in chancery clerk office with full attendance. They granted township 7 5 to pay Jonnie Kersh for two months teaching Red Oak school, elected extra justice of the peace for district 1, and instructed vacation clerk to record back tax adjustments pending board approval. Bridge contract awarded to L W Murray for 279 with bond double bid, completion in 60 days. Warrant book loss leads to warrants declared of no effect. Treasurer A Buchanan filed third quarter report. balances listed. Various bills approved and stocks law petitions continued or dismissed. Loan to J F Jordan for 300 township funds granted. Adjourned to November.
