Brookfield Fair Honors Self and Linn County
The Brookfield merchants association staged Linn County s most successful fair from Tuesday to Friday drawing about eight thousand on Thursday. Floral hall exhibits and agricultural displays impressed while the Cameron band and balloon acts drew praise. A Friday school parade preceded a football game between Brookfield and Macon, ending in holiday crowds and community pride.
