Rankin county Board of Supervisors met June 5 1911 in regular session at Brandon with all members present plus Sheriff G W White and Clerk J A Gayden. They appointed road overseer J S Alexander and trustees for township 5 2. awarded a convict cage bid. fixed the county health officer salary at 250 yearly. ordered tax sales for 1909 lands. granted parole to a convict for health reasons. continued several road and bridge matters. apprenticed Curtis Myers minor to L H Mashburn until 1922 with bond. approved repairs payments to schools. allowed various county disbursements and listed numerous road and bridge expenditures and staff fees. June 6 continued inspections and warrants in a long rolling set of actions.
