Farm Bureau Forms Broad County Wide Rural Group
The Ran kin County Farm Bureau held Monday January 8 in its largest meeting since organization began last September. Members from all sections formed a statewide aligned body with 15 000 members and multiple county units. Officers were elected for 1923 and plans were set to expand cotton cooperatives fertilizer contracts and a Truck Growers Association. Regular meetings will be held on the last Saturday of each month at 10 30 a m.

Rankin County Board Approves 900 for Child Welfare Move ment
Rankin County Supervisors met in regular session last week. They reviewed and approved quarterly expenditures and appropriated 900 from the General County Fund for the county Child's Welfare Movement. The funds will be paid monthly to the worker, pending State Board of Health approval. An office may be opened in the Court House, and the board adjourned to meet the first Monday in February.
