Board of Supervisors Proceedings February 4 1918
The board met Monday morning with full attendance. Appointed Duncan A. Collum and C. M. Thompson as township school trustees. Added lands to the Spann district and reviewed the education fund payments totaling 4948.03 with January postage and salaries listed. Ordered penalties and notices for delinquent road taxes, plus sale of two mules and timber sale permissions. Granted stock law petitions for land annexations to Whitfield district and Spann district. Appointed deputy tax assessors for 1918. Loan approval contingent on title abstract. Food contracts awarded for various beats and oats with detailed prices. Numerous petty expenditures approved, including millwork, bridge repairs, pauper support, and postage. (Continued on page 4)
