Will and Lige Hatcher Sentenced for Cotton Theft
Circuit court adjourned Friday afternoon. Hemphill pleaded guilty and drew six months in the penitentiary. Hatcher was convicted and also sentenced to six months. Both men plan to seek a gubernatorial pardon. Prisoners were conveyed to the penitentiary by Sheriff Crook last week.
