Skeleton Found in Woods Believed Murdered Young Man
Coroner Dean and assistants recovered a full skeleton near a railroad in a hollow created by a uprooted tree. The skull shows two heavy blunt force fractures, suggesting murder. Clothing includes a black coat and vest, brown pants, and a blue striped shirt. A wooden pipe and snuff box were found. teeth indicate a young man. The bones and clothing are kept at the morgue for possible identification.

Officers include President Mrs. E. M. Westfall and Vice President Mrs. C. M. Patek. The society is non-sectarian. Jessie Ackerman’s lecture at the Presbyterian church was canceled.
