Miss Lelia Hall has mostly recovered from illness. Scott Moon bought 40 acres on Hay Creek from Mr. Tabert. Geo. Jackson returned from Brainerd to his farm. E. M. Jennings moved to East Brainerd with his family seeking summer work. Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Dane of Maple Grove visited their daughter Mrs. N. B. Hall for two weeks. The Cooleys visited Daggett Brook with L. B. Stearns. J. M. Jarbo came back from Tama rack after a productive logging winter. The Jennings hosted a dancing party with many friends, John Brune provided music, and everyone enjoyed the evening except a young man who could not attract a dance partner.

Worshippers from the area attended St Mathias Catholic Church on Tuesday. Mr and Mrs Wm Reed left Monday for Bemidji to pursue a homestead. David McCorker helped clean seed wheat with a cockle mill earlier in the week. Rev Morton of Brainerd was expected to preach last Sunday but sickness kept him away.
