Minnesota Jobs Rise Recovers Nearly 90 Percent Of Losses
Minnesota employers added 12,100 jobs as revised BLS figures show the state gained 16,700 more jobs over 21 months than first reported. January gains combine with revisions to nearly restore 90 percent of the 160,000 jobs lost in the Great Recession, with 50,000 added in the last year. The unemployment rate rose.
