Brainerd OKs higher share for out of town gambling
Brainerd City Council finalizes an ordinance amendment requiring at least 85 percent of net profits from charitable gambling to benefit Brainerd Baxter residents. Local groups within city limits retain a 10 percent return. The rule takes effect 90 days after publication. Also noted DEED shows Minnesota unemployment up 18 percent in Q4 2012.
