Republican County Convention Set for Brainerd on June 11 1888
Ward caucuses for delegates to the county convention will be held Saturday evening at 7 30 o clock at designated ward rooms. The Republican voters of Crow Wing county meet Monday at the Brainerd Court House at 3 pm to elect three delegates to the Fifth District convention in St Cloud on June 12 1888. Precincts receive delegates by ward and township, with Brainerd First Ward four delegates Second Ward four Third Ward two Fourth Ward three and townships Fairbanks one Deerwood Long Lake and adjacent areas allocated. J J Howe chairman of the Republican County Committee issues the call from Brainerd May 31 1888. Next Tuesday St Cloud hosts a lively day as the paper notes its first anniversary.
