The Soil and Water Conservation elections set for October 1 will elect one director each for the San Saba Brady and Concho District Boards. Zone 2 in San Saba Brady votes at 10 a.m. at Farmers-Ranchers Co op, and Concho District votes at 8 p.m. at the Lohn Tabernacle. Voters must be landowners in their zones.

Neal Undergoes Surgery After Shoulder Injury
David Neal BHS tailback underwent corrective surgery on his upper arm Tuesday at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo and is reported in good condition. He dislocated his shoulder in practice last week and is out for football season but may be ready for basketball season.
