Nazarene Church Dedication Set For Sunday
Brady's Church of the Nazarene will dedicate its remodeled building at 708 North College this Sunday. Rev. James C. Hester, San Antonio District superintendent, will give the dedicatory address at 2:30 p.m. He also speaks at 11 a.m. Sunday service. Rev. Marion Bond has led the church since last June and will speak at the 7:30 p.m. service. The building features reconditioning, repainting, a new pink cast stone entrance, stone around the foundation, and a glass brick cross in the entrance hall.
Barbecue Dinner At St Patrick’s Fall Festival
St Patrick's Fall Festival at the National Guard Armory on October 15 will offer pork and goat barbecue with beans potato salad pickled peaches onions and pickles along with tea or coffee. The parish Men’s Club plans multiple concession stands to create a carnival atmosphere and tickets are available from parish members.

Auto Overturns Injuring Brady Men on Highway 87
Two Brady men A W Moseley and A J Ricks Sr were injured when their car overturned about eight miles west of Eden on U S Highway 87 around 9 am Tuesday. Ricks escaped with minor cuts bruises Moseley remained in Brady Hospital with shoulder back pain but no broken bones. Ricks pulled off gravel shoulder to avoid a truck, got out with help after the crash and a Brady couple Jim and Mrs Wilson assisted at the scene the car was demolished.

County Exhibit Opens With 75 Displays At Curtis Field
