Cotton Bowl outlines payoff and control for guest teams
The Cotton Bowl remains a conference operated event with about 31 directors and hosts a large revenue stream. It divides gate and media income with 39 percent to each competing team, 22 percent to its association, and leftovers to conference members. Arkansas’s host take in 1961 was about 79 000 dollars while the conference shared roughly 16 500 per school.
